burning bush - pyrography & art

This site is for you to view some of my pyrography and artwork.

Pyrography is woodburning, it has been recorded to have been used pre the birth of jesus, in ancient caves, stoneage man has recorded daily life by using burnt images.

The greeks called it pyrography as it means "fire art".

This method of decorating items bacame very popular in the victorian times, then they use a red hot poker to burn into leather, wood, cork or even paper.
